Summer is just around the corner, and soon enough you’ll be hitting the beach to get that good old summer tan. Of course, you can always skip this part and just find a tanning salon to achieve that sun-kissed look, but if you’re looking to do some surfing or swimming as well, you might […]
Find the Perfect Beach Using a California Travel Guide
If a vacation to California is in your plans this summer, try using a California travel guide to help you select what you want to do. There are tons of things to do in Southern California, and a California travel guide is the easiest way to select what places and activities you want to engage yourself and your family in doing. The beach is a great destination for afternoons. Often in the summer, the fog in the morning is pretty heavy, but by 1 or 2 in the afternoon, it burns off and the beach becomes a splendid place to be. Just sitting on the sand and watching the waves break on the shore is a fantastic way to spend an absolutely relaxing afternoon and early evening. The California travel guide will describe the many public beaches and their features so that you can choose what you want in a beach. Some of the beaches have huge waves suitable for surfing, while others have smaller waves that make it easier for kids to play in the water without your having to worry intensely about the kids getting knocked down. The California travel guide will be most helpful for determining where you plunk your chair and spend hours in utter relaxation.

Crunch Faster to Work Obliques Better
The need for speed: Fast crunches may work your obliques better than slow ones, The Journal of Strength and Conditioning Research reports.
Hitting the gas recruits the sometimes hard-to-target external obliques (side abs), says lead researcher Francisco J. Vera-Garcia, Ph.D., of Miguel Hernández University of Elche in Spain. (The obliques are key in sports that require twisting, like tennis and swimming.)
Add some fast crunches—up and down in one second—to your regular ab routine. And to hone your form, keep your lower back in contact with the floor or a stability ball and allow your neck to rest naturally in your hands
